Currituck Star Awarded to Wild Horse Heroes

The third annual Currituck Star was awarded by the Wild Horse Fund of Corolla. There were to recipients this year, US Rep. Walter Jones and Fran Green of Corolla.

Outer Banks Congressman works to protect Corolla wild horses

Update from earlier. US Congressman Walter Jones has introduced a bill, called the Corolla Wild Horses Protection Act. The bill would look to shape the management plan for the wild herd and look to increase the size of the herd.
